PresentationS Information

FULL Paper

  1. Prepare a 25 minute video presentation of your work replicating what you would have done if you were presenting in a traditional conference setup. You do not need to use any special equipment to produce the videos but make sure that your videos are of a good quality for a streaming service like YouTube but not larger than 1GB. As a reference you may want to check videos created for other conferences like ASPLOS 2020, ISCA 2020, and ICS 2020. See (4) for the upload instruction.

  1. In addition to the video, we would like to ask you to also provide us the slides that you used for your presentation. Submit your slides as a single pdf file and see (4) for the upload instruction.

  1. Since we will be making your video available to the public, we would like to ask you to please sign the legal agreement that you can download from the link emailed to you. Sign it, scan it (or take a high-quality picture), and see (4) for the upload instruction. Note that the agreement needs to be signed just by the presenter(s) in the video.

  1. Name your video file “PaperNUM_video”, your pdf slides file as “PaperNUM_slides”, and your signed agreement as “PaperNUM_agreement” (where NUM is your paper number, e.g. “Paper15_video”, “Paper15_slides”, and “Paper15_agreement”). Upload all files to the Box folder in the link emailed to you no later than August 10.

  1. You have already registered to FPL2020 but you will still need to register (free registration) to the FPL2020 online platform Whova.

During the conference days, as author of a full paper you will participate in the live event by participating in the assigned session for your paper and giving a short 3 minute pitch for your work which will be followed by a 7 minute Q&A led by the Session chair.

For more information on the schedule of the live events, please check the FPL2020 Program.
